Mercy Corps

Mercy Corps

An organization with a long history of global relief efforts, Mercy Corps faced an identity crisis. With field offices spread all over the globe and initiatives ranging from long-term community-led change to crisis relief, Mercy Corps needed to communicate more clearly a strong brand point of view that tied all the work together in a cohesive, powerful way. I worked with them directly to create internal on-boarding material and help launch their first ever branding campaign.

Conservation International Prospectus

Conservation International Prospectus

I worked with Conservation International to write their annual prospectus. This is one of their biggest fundraising tools and the task was to help big donors see the value CI brings to conservation in a powerful, emotional way. The prospectus idea—we’re not saving nature, nature is saving us—flipped the idea of humans being in control on its head and was a strong statement of CI’s belief in the power of the natural world.

The Novo Foundation

The Novo Foundation

The Novo Foundation has long worked to end violence against women and girls. As part of their mission, they wanted to elevate the voices, vulnerabilities, system failures and shared experiences of those who face sexual exploitation. I worked with them to create thelifestory.org, an online experience that explores common touch points in the lives of those who face sexual exploitation—and shows the opportunities for change along the way.

XQ: The Super School Project

I partnered with MAL\FOR GOOD as a writer on XQ: The Super School Project in mid-2015, working with creative directors Heather Larimer and Danielle Flagg as they developed the voice, tone, manifesto and campaign lines.
